My Week with Marilyn

According to IMDB, Simon Curtis has directed numerous television movies, so are we not including those? And if we don't include those, does that mean we can't nominate actors from TV movies (I believe some have The Sunset Limited on their ballots).

Different eligibility sets. Best Debut means best US theatrical debut. Acting categories are open to TV movies.

The first post in this thread attempts to spell out this category's unique eligibility guidelines.
