I thought it was a little unclear why The Mountain decapitated his horse.  Did those who hadn't read the book get it right away that it was the horse's fault he lost the joust?

I did like the fight at the end, but Jaime should've be swinging that sword with only one hand, his left holding a shield.

I thought it was just a ridiculous senseless-rage response. Like the most badass version of ripping your shirt off before you attack someone.

Your version makes more sense, but I like mine better. :)

The Mountain only rode stallions.  The Knight of Flowers, knowing this, rode a mare that was in heat.  The Mountain's horse freaks out, which is why he misses.  So he kills the horse and goes after Loras for his trickery.

But yeah, he's all senseless rage too.

Or snapping your putter in half after a miss. :)

Just watched both shows released yesterday. Wow. This is the best thing on tv.

Jane Espenson! I bet she did the confessional dialogue for the imp.  8)

That was an incredible speech. ;D That guy is far and away my favorite character at this point, although there's a lot that I'm really enjoying. The younger Stark sister made me very happy this episode too.

Also, did I hear right that The Mountain was seen to decapitate another horse? What a cumbersome trademark to have!

The Eyrie is cooler than I ever could've imagined.

A bit of nitpicking though (episode 6 spoilers ahead): When that dead knight gets kicked through the Moon Door, seen here, and then you look at the image above... well it just doesn't seem to match up. Where is this throne room located that middle of it extends over empty terrain?

Yeah, I know, "who cares". I'm Just sayin'.

IMO the latest episode was probably the weakest of the show overall, but still very enjoyable. The ending was super tense.

Yeah they sure do know how to end it. :)

I don't know if this is common or not but there's so many things going on at the same time you can go multiple episode between scenes in a storyline. Like I think there were two episodes in a row there where we saw nothing of The Wall.
