No way, dude. I don't know if we'll every see a better decade.

Have to agree with 'Noff about being better than the 2000's, I had so many films that could have made top 5 in this decade. But no decade beats the 50's.

The 30s is pretty close to the 50s, if not better.

If it weren't for the first 3 or 4 years of that decade, I would agree. The transition to sound and the over the top melodramatic acting in those years. lowers the overall rating for that decade.

What makes the 50's so great is the amount of great foreign films, plus the widescreen epics and Film Noir's zenith.
